Just yesterday, I got a notification from Facebook that said, “Congrats! you got increased visibility!” I guess this is their way of cheering me on. I've actually cut back on seeking the attention of the algorithm. Instead, my bad habit is watching other attention seekers.
Every now and then, I download the TikTok app to find out what the algorithm will showcase in my feed. I came across one young lady sharing her thoughts about Kirk Franklin’s latest “debacle.” Apparently, he was on the BET HipHop Awards “rapping” that “the Lion and the Lamb will bow down to the goat” (or some say he meant “the G.O.A.T”). The black Christian community is in an uproar. They want to know if he knows what he said, did he mean what he said, and if he meant what he said, is he for God or against Him? Yeah. He’s looking quite suspect right now, and all the social media preachers are gaining attention and gathering followers because of this story.
