In the world of the internet, social media, and Youtube, we are inundated with voices: gurus, motivational speakers, talk show hosts, pastors, spiritual leaders, famous people, influencers, friends and family. Everyone has something to say about everything. You name it, there’s an “answer.”

But I want to remind you that there is only one voice that will steer you in the right direction. It is the voice of the good shepherd. This voice brings love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5). This is the voice that says, “Peace be still” when the waves are crashing in on you (Mark 4:39). This voice leads you beside the still waters and restores your soul (Psalm 23).
