Bible
I love to read and study God’s Word. It brings peace and keeps me connected to my creator. No matter when I read my Bible, His Word is “alive and active…” Through the Holy Spirit, there is fresh revelation. Let’s reflect on God’s Word together.
Books
I love reading and writing books. From as far back as I can remember, reading has always been a huge part of my life. One of the easiest ways to start a conversation with me is to ask. “So, what are you reading?” At any given moment, I’m either reading, writing, or listening to a book. Reading and writing help me to decompress, learn new things, generate ideas, contemplate life, and start conversations. As a Writing Coach, I help others write books! Busyness
Busyness is anything that keeps you away from the peace of God. I tend to let my to-do lists, career, parenting duties, plans, and distractions keep me from focusing on God. It’s an easy slippery slope for me, which chips away at my mental well-being. As a recovering busy bee, I have to regularly check myself before I wreck myself. I wrote all about it in my book, Kill the Busy Save the Bee: What It Really Means to Be Still and Know.
